In the paper the general review of Irkutsk region surface water resources conditions is presented. Detailed pollution analysis is presented for dam lakes (Irkutsk, Bratsk, Ust-Ilimsk) and the complex of angara’s hydroelectric stations basing on the data of 1993-2005 by the Irkutsk regional office on hydrometeorology and environment monitoring. The necessity for developing the technology of complex territory’s ecological volume evaluation is substantiated.
