The article dwells on some issues concerned with agrarian policy in Tajikistan and the measures undertaken for the settlement of the problem in question. Agrarian reform is of great importance for the agroindustrial complex of the country. The mechanism of the old centralized planned economy has been ruined. The tenor of collective-state-farm life which dominated in a rural area during several decades turned out to be brought to collapse. Therefore, the continuing agrarian reform, privatization of state-owned property, development of new forms of holding running change radically productive relations in the agro-industrial complex thus defining a principally new conception of the development of productive forces.
