The results of observations over the many years lasting period of hard spring wheat growing are presented in the article. The parameters of monthly moisture incoming in the form of precipitations and their regularity during the vegetation period have been shown. The water requirements of plants and their moisture security have been determined. The role of soil moisture and precipitations accumulation and their ratio in the formation of hard spring wheat yields over the 1st and 2nd halves of the vegetation period, as well as for its entire period, are described by equations. The importance of the rate of moisture consumption from soil and in the form of precipitations on nonfertilized fallows and on those with application of P40 for yields formation has been substantiated. Moreover, the interconnection between the rate of yields accumulation and that of average daily heat and moisture consumption has been considered. The corresponding equations to be used in calculations are suggested.
