The state of water resources is analyzed, the issues of their protection and irrigation water saving are discussed, a complete classification of the application of advanced irrigation equipment and technology is presented, and the recommendations for large-scale manufacture and implementation are proposed. The advantages and disadvantages of earlier irrigation technologies are revealed.
