The paper reviews the views of Tajik and Uzbek writers on water and energy resources and energy projects in Tajikistan. It is proved that the news agency "Centrasia" and "Ferghana" played a significant role in the escalation of Tajik-Uzbek conflict pursuing mercantile interests. The author notes that these agencies create a false system of orientation for the audience and develop a false picture of reality as half-truth, withholding information and false comments are seen in their news. The article underlines that the nature and manner of presentation of the studied materials of "Ferghana" and "Centrasia" agencies showed that some parts of Uzbek authors materials are written by "fabricated" method, i.e. they are written by spin doctors or by the scientists commissioned by the "top". The goal of the information campaign is to discredit the Rogun HPS. According to the analysis, the author concludes that Tajikistan needs a new state information policy. The position of the republic in the information war depends on comprehensive development of this policy taking into account the new realities of globalization of inf.
