This collection contains papers of the International Scientific Conference dedicated to 90 years since the establishment of the All-Russian Hydraulic Engineering and Reclamation Research Institute named by A.N.Kostyakov. The papers address a wide range of issues that indicate to a need for reclamation measures in order to improve productivity of land, increase sustainability of cultivated landscapes, and lessen anthropogenic load on the nature. New approaches and technology are proposed for improvement of crop yields in reclaimed land, saving of water and energy through ecosystem-wise water use in agri-industrial sector, the models and methods for design of reclamation measures and information technologies are described, and issues related to hydraulic engineering, mechanization of reclamation work, and economic feasibility are discussed.
