The article deals with the analysis of methods for drip irrigation scheduling on the base of climatic, soil, and physiologic features. At the first step of simulating the process of drip irrigation scheduling, an opportunity for quantity and quality presentation of input and outcome variables was considered. The expedience of their description as linguistic variables has been shown. The values of linguistic variables are shown as quality terms in the form of words and sentences of natural language. Such approach allows using expert natural-language information for solving problems of management and decision-making scheduling for drip irrigation.
Every term, which is an assessment of linguistic variable, formalizes by membership function in to fuzzy set. Different analytical representations of fuzzy sets were considered by membership function of different model forms. The most informative indicators which determine the choice of science-based drip irrigation regime were described, and the main functional links between them were established. Based on the analysis, the structure of the mathematical model as a superposition of functions for several variables was built. To estimate each of the described input and outcome variables, terms defined as universal sets were chosen. The considered step for simulating process of drip irrigation scheduling enables to build a model on the base of expert information presented as fuzzy bases of knowledge.
