The catchment basins located in the Vologodskaya province were mapped by using the GIS methods, and the degree of their development was assessed. The area of each catchment basin was divided into the three categories: little-developed area, agricultural land, and settlements. The dependence of hydrochemical parameters in surface water on the degree of human interventions was identified.
