The paper presents the results of geological surveys undertaken in the construction site of Kanevskaya PSP (Trakhtemirov-Buchak block). More than 50,000 running meters of wells for different purposes were drilled in the design sites of Kanevskaya HPP and PSP. Based on the analysis of numerous actual data of the surveys, a mechanical earth model for soil body of Kanevskaya site was developed.
