Availability of natural resources is necessary but not the only condition of national security. Efficient use of those resources is no less important. The analysis of ecosystem interactions in the Planet’s sociosphere revealed a comparable impact of external and internal factors on national security. The principles of more efficient structuring of the society based on distribution of property as a product generated from natural resources are suggested. The functions of some kinds of this property and conditions of access to them are determined. The rational use of raw materials and equitable distribution of generated product are considered as the main tasks of the government in order to ensure sustainable development of the country as a guarantee of its security.
