The general assessment of water resources and water use in the Amur province is provided. The main problems related to water use and protection, such as pollution and deterioration of water bodies, harmful impact of water, drinking water supply, surface runoff regulation and others, are discussed.  

The results of the analysis are shown in the main conclusions. Based on this, a conceptual framework of the National Territorial Program for the use, restoration and protection of water bodies in the Amur province was developed.
