Since the end of the XIX century to the present time one of the main problems of irrigated agriculture in the Aral Sea and Kazakhstan  is the salinization of irrigated land. Area of irrigated land, in spite of the applied system of reclamation activities, including washing, rinsing and drainage of irrigation regime, not only did not decrease, but in many cases even increased.
