Database contains sample data published observational network stations and posts of the North-West Department of Hydrometeorology and Monitoring of the natural environment, located in Karelia and having a long (at least 30 years) observation period, as well as generalized time series on the territory of the Republic of the main characteristics of the water balance (1880-1996 years), received IVPS KarNC RAN result of statistical processing of data from the stations and posts.

The main purpose of the database - providing information for research of the regional variability of moisture and the elements of the overall water balance of the territory of Karelia.
