S.A. Mamatov, Kh.U. Umarov, M.Ye. Matsura (SANIIRI) Wastewater is diverse in composition and content of chemical elements, organic substances and microorganisms. The quality of wastewater used for irrigation is regulated by chemical, bacteriological and parasitological parameters. Wastewater containing trace elements, including heavy metals in amounts not exceeding the maximum allowable concentration for drinking water can be used for irrigation without any restrictions. In general, used for irrigation, wastewater must meet the land improvement requirements for irrigation water in order to obtain high yields of crops, good quality products as well as improving soil fertility and improve its reclamation.
