A. Karimov (IWMI) In this paper we analyze the effect of water conservation by replacing alfalfa in the Ferghana valley in winter wheat. The calculation results show that this replacement crops helped reduce crop evapotranspiration in the Fergana Valley for 500 Mm3/year and increased the water available to water users downstream. The paper evaluated changes in the share of unproductive evapotranspiration. Download (pdf, 266 Kb) |
