Comparison of water use in the Russian Federation and the USA

A.D. Dumnov, Ph.D. NIA-Priroda At the beginning of October NIA-Priroda has completed drafting the State Report "On the status and use of water resources in the Russian Federation in 2005." The report in detail and comprehensively examine the current state of water bodies, the results of water use and water protection. However, by reporting the nature and specifics of the issues as well as disability coverage of industry issues, a number of issues had not been included in the report. This applies, in particular, international comparisons, some results are discussed in this article.
