Water resource management is a system of legal, institutional, organizational, technical and economic measures aimed at ensuring the water needs of the population and sectors of the economy, restoration of natural water quality and protect their status. Under the restoration of water resources is implicit in the most general way to prevent depletion and pollution of natural waters, limiting the impact of economic activities on natural hydrological processes of renewal and formation of surface and groundwater. The main condition for the reproduction of water resources is considered the preservation and restoration of self-purification capacity of river basins.
