Turkey will build 18 dams with six neighbors except of Armenia |

Refuting the thesis of "water wars" Turkey has launched cooperation projects with its neighbors in order to build dams on rivers that cross its borders, said the publication World Bulletin. Djihan news agency told that Turkey plans to build 18 dams along its border with Iraq, Syria, Iran, Georgia, Bulgaria and Greece. Foundation of the first dam to be laid on January 31. When these projects are completed, Turkey will have a joint dam with all its neighbors except Armenia. |
