As part of the State Scientific-Technical Program "Ecological Safety" belarusian scientists are now completing an extensive inventory of water bodies of the country. For the first time scientists have promised to determine the exact number of rivers, lakes, canals and reservoirs, and calculate the availability of water for all administrative areas of the country.
