These artificial ponds were created on the rivers with dams. A dam, in turn, serve to regulate the flow of water to hydroelectric power plants to generate electricity. In our field of 17 hydro power plants, and in principle, each of them is connected with the reservoir. But this does not mean that the same with us and reservoirs, because where there is a cascade, small bodies of water are not usually called stores of water.
