At Bureyskaya HPS initiated to the second stage of hydraulic tests of five hydroelectric stations. Sixth hydroelectric (gearcase  # 3) has already been tested in 2009.

Tests are conducted to verify the equipment reliability and safety of different modes of operation, as well as to refine the performance of generating units and expansion of the permitted zone.
