The Special Commission undertook an evaluation of hydraulic structures of the Sayano-Shushnenskaya HPS, experienced in the past year, technological accidents in preparation for a new security declaration, told RIANews.

Declaration of safety is the primary documents supporting the safety of hydraulic structures and their compliance with technical standards, as well as determining the nature and extent of potential emergencies and measures to ensure safe operation. Currently, hydro stations are operated under the Declaration adopted in June 2010 up to October 2011.
