On 30 November, in the building of the Slavyanskiy District Council meeting was held on basin management on the protection of the Seversky Donets River and its sub-basins. The event was held in the format of the roundtable. In discussing the problem of water pollution was attended by representatives of public institutions and enterprises of the region.

Head of the Basin Water Resources Viktor Antonenko reported on the status of water sector Seversky Donets Basin. Condition was very poor. One of the main causes of water pollution called the discharge of polluted water back industrial enterprises of the region.
