Heard reports on the implementation of the Action Plan to implement the Water Strategy of the representatives of Ministry of Russia, Russian Ministry of Energy, Water Management.

Meeting participants discussed issues of improving the legislation in the field of safety of hydraulic structures in order to reduce the risks of technogenic emergencies, reducing the number of ownerless waterworks, carrying out search operations and statement on the state inventory reserves of fresh groundwater deposits.

One of the items discussed Water Strategy was the formation of a unified information and analytical system of water-management complex of the Russian Federation, as well as construction and reconstruction of hydro reservoirs to create additional regulatory capacities and increase water loss in areas experiencing water scarcity, ecological restoration and rehabilitation of water bodies, including small river.
