In Udmurtia, approved by the republican target program "Pure water for 2011-2015." For its implementation is planned to spend 10.5 billion rubles, including 2.5 billion from the budget of Udmurtia, as reported the press service of the President and the Government of Udmurtia.

The program aims to implement measures to rationalize water use, improvement and restoration of water bodies and their ecosystems. In particular, providing the population of Udmurtia drinking water of guaranteed quality and in required quantities, as well as ensuring a sustainable water supply and sanitation issues.

 There was an unfortunate situation with water supply due to the discharge of untreated waste water, as considered the ministry of natural resources, which has been developing the program in Udmurtia. Also the ratio of water to last years has led to a mismatch of consumer importance of water and its price, which triggered the uncontrolled consumption of water, the devaluation of its price. In addition, the current control system does not provide regulatory water quality and uninterrupted supply, loss of product in this case is about 50% - as commented the program in the ministry.

As a result of the program in 2015 will reduce the percentage of those in need of replacing sewer and water networks to 52% this year to 25% water loss - from 22% to 12%, the number of accidents in the water supply from 16 to 5 per 100 km of pipes per year, the volume of untreated water - from 23% to 17.5%.

The volume of feed-quality drinking water by 2015 should increase from 86,5% to 88%. The share of wastewater that pass through the treatment plant before being discharged into water bodies will increase by 2% - from 93% in 2010 to 95% in 2015.

The remaining funds - 8 billion rubles will be received from other sources, including 4,267 million rubles - private investment in financing and implementing projects in the sectors of water supply and sanitation of Udmurtia.
