Administration of the Voljskaya HPS (hydropower station)  received grant to repair the bridge of the Voljskaya HPS.
"Komsomolskaya Pravda" has already written that the dam of the Voljskaya HPS needs overhaul. Until recent times it was the only traffic artery on which it was possible to cross from one side of the Volga river to the other by land. The road exploited mercilessly and so came in poor condition.

One patching immediately will not do. According to experts, that the design was safe for motorists and for the most hydroelectric power on the bridge to replace expansion joints on a more durable modern construction to ensure a smooth passage for the bridge deck. In addition, the need to strengthen the spans and supports.

However, such an overhaul would cost a tidy sum. Estimated FSUE “ROSDORNII" to bring the bridge in perfect condition, will require about 370 million rubles. At this year's road repair administration of the Voljskaya HPS allocated only 30 million, which will suffice for the current work.
