In the work there is given a description of the ice condition for the rivers of the Mologa basin within the Pestovsky region of the Novgorod area for a long period. The assessment is made on the changeability of different phases of the ice regime: autumn ice floating, freezing-over, spring ice floating, frequencies and force of congestions and jams, ice thickness for a period of the 1931-2013 years. It is found that changing of winter air temperatures has lead to a significant changing of characteristics of the ice condition. It is noted that the total duration of the period with ice phenomena has reduced in average by 15 days. The formed ice cover is not always steady: there can be observed glades and flanges during the whole winter period. Spring ice floating on the part of the Mologa river also begins by 1-2 weeks earlier, and on the tributaries does not take place. Thus the value of maximal jam water levels in average has decreased by 20%, congestion by 30% that has lead to the frequency changing of dangerous hydrological phenomena and decreasing of their force.
