In the article gives the results of comparative analysis of some open-access data-sources about river network of European Russia. The comparison carried by series of quantitative and qualitative signs. It's are particularity of network data, accuracy (as a measure of conformity with reality), parent data for creating the river network data, attributive information. This signs has effect on applicability of different sources for scientific and practical issues.
