Determining the status of irrigated lands of the lower reaches of the Syr Darya River conduct monitoring of soil, groundwater and surface water, laboratory studies and established salinization of topsoil, mixing of surface and highly saline groundwater, deteriorating condition of the irrigated lands. Problems of salinity changes in the level of groundwater and contamination of irrigation water is relevant for a given territory-term, as the lower course of the river is for Agricultural irrigated land. Ongoing studies will improve the hydrogeological and land reclamation, as well, and to determine the quality and extent of contamination of the soil, irrigation, waste water and groundwater.
