The Proceedings contain scientific papers and report abstracts of the XIV International Research Symposium “Clean Water of Russia 2017”. Those are dedicated to the relevant issues related to implementation of the Water Strategy of the Russian Federation, such as provision of safe drinking water; environmental rehabilitation and restoration of water bodies; use and protection of water sites; prevention of negative water impact and safety of hydraulic structures; R&D support and human resources of the water management sector; education and awareness raising on water use and protection. The Proceedings also include the summaries of research projects submitted by young scholars and students to the “Ecology of Water” contest.
