The Public Corporation “Vodstroi” was established on the basis of enterprises and institutions of the former USSR Ministry for Land Reclamation and Water Resources in 1992.
The founders of the corporation are specialized construction, industrial, research, and design institutions dealing with water-resources development and farm building.
PC “Vodstroi” has highly qualified staff that managed to adapt rich experience and research capacity developed in the past to the present market economy conditions.
PC “Vodstroi” with its branches is a widely diversified organization that offers a wide range of services to its clients. Besides its specialized water-resources development activities, such as development of irrigation in Dangara scheme in the Republic of Tajikistan and reconstruction of irrigation system in Volgograd province, Russia, the company is involved in oil and gas construction. PC “Vodstroi” participated in construction of gas main and gas-compressor station in Turkey, tank field for oil and water in Iraq and other similar projects.
