In the recent two decades, the world faces growing concerns about the state of water resources in our Planet in light of growing demand and pollution. Global population growth, general intensive development of irrigation and drainage, as well as accelerated industrial development have led to increased use of scanty fresh water resources. Moreover, massive and uncontrolled pollution of water bodies in Central Asia and Kazakhstan is expanding.
