Dear readers!

I am glad to bring to your attention the speech of the Network’s President Mr. Polad-zadeh at Parliamentarian hearings on 14.09.2010 on the issues of water relations and their legal framework in Russia. 
Mr. Polad-zadeh has always and still gives the lead in the struggle for our water future. His speech once again proves his position. Russia – with abundant water in the world – suffers from water problems. Therefore, he raises the alarm. 
All our countries have none the less water problems – both internal and external.
We should look forward and attract attention of the world community to our water problems not only because we are water professionals but since water is the future of our Earth and the mankind.

Dear participants of the Parliament hearings!

First of all, let me thank the organizers for the invitation to this very important and very interesting event. Would you, please, allow me to extend slightly the official theme of discussion since drinking water, undoubtedly, is a key water problem and this cannot be considered in isolation from the general situation in the water sector.
