In article the short characteristic on inter-farm channels with an earth channel and the reasons is given why on these waterways do not provide the account of water flowmeters of types «the fixed channel», «spillways with a thin wall». Noticing, that the most suitable to conditions of inter-farm channels with an earth channel is the type flowmeter «Conical nozzles», lacks of such constructions because of which the constructed constructions are not used as means at the water account are specified. Last years for water account improvement the constructed constructions are replaced with flowmeters of type "Diaphragm", the characteristic of one of them (on R-2-6 the Western Big Chuj channel systems) is resulted in published article.
