In the conditions of growing water scarcity the most promising methods and technologies are aimed at irrigated hectare productivity increasing and the irrigation water use efficiency. The developed combined system of irrigation is used for orchards and vineyards irrigation with the simultaneous regulation of air surface layer. The strip sprinkler design feature is that there are three pairs of annular outlets aimed at different angles of inclination to the horizontal surface that allows to adjust the length of the irrigation strip, depending on the age of trees, and moisten only the area of the root system. The system operates in two modes. The first mode is strip under tree sprinkler irrigation, in which water flows through the outlet slit of the size of 20x0.5 mm and is fanned out on the strip from 1 to 3 m when the distance between the rows of trees is 3-5 m.

The irrigated area amounts to 50-70% of the total area. The second mode is fine-dispersed sprinkling, in which the slotted outlets are closed and water is supplied from fine nozzles as droplets with the diameter of 200-500 ^m, draining mainly to evaporation from the leaf surface, ensuring the removal of heat stress in plants by lowering leaf temperature and increasing the humidity of the air surface layer. The development of the irrigation combined system is based on the modular principle, allowing for the design of irrigation systems to establish the size of power network and equipment performance depending on the specific conditions of the object: size of irrigated areas, the water regime of crops, slopes and other natural and economic conditions.
