In the paper we use the basin principle of the hydrosphere study of Tajikistan, which allows us to comprehensively examine all elements of the water balance. In assessing the hydrogeoecological situation we used methods of typing and mapping of the territory with the construction of hydrogeoecological schematic maps. The results of the conducted calculations of areas with different amounts of precipitation were described on meso-basins of runoff and modules of runoff of relevant meso-basins within the Syrdarya and Amudarya makro-basins of runoff.
